Early Life and Education
Rinku Singh was born and raised in a poor household in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. He lived in a two room-flat owned by Gas Cylinder Company along with his parents and five siblings. His father used to deliver LPG Cylinders. His father struggled to provide a decent lifestyle to Rinku. Rinku had a deep interest in cricket and sports from his childhood and used to play cricket with leather ball with his local friends. With time, he started practicing at a Government Stadium.

Rinku Singh‘s Controversy: 3 Months Suspension
Rinku Singh was banned by the BCCI for three months starting on June 1, 2019, for participating in the Ramadan T20 Tournament in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, without the organization’s consent. He scored 104 runs off 58 balls in the competition final against New Medical Centre while playing for the Deccan Gladiators, which helped them win.
“Mr. Singh did not seek permission from the BCCI before taking part in the T20 league, hence directly violating the BCCI rules and regulations,”
